"DONATION TO FLOOD AFFECTED AREAS" BY TAN CHONG MOTOR CAMBODIA

GENERAL

November 2020 – Tan Chong Motor (Cambodia) Pty. Ltd. (TCMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd. (Malaysia), and sole and exclusive Distributor of Nissan vehicles in Cambodia has outdo itself by personally hand-delivering donation items to three different provincial government of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Battambang.

In mid-October 2020 to-date, prolonged seasonal rainfalls have caused flooding in 19 provinces out of 25 provinces in the Kingdom of Cambodia. A spokesperson of the National Committee for Disaster Management said the flooding has destroyed thousands of hectares of rice, damages to housing properties, schools, bridges and few hundred kilometres of road.

Thus, TCMC has responded and made three different donations to three different collections centre namely Mean Chey district Government in Phnom Penh, Siem Reap Provincial Government in Siem Reap and Battambang Provincial Government in Battambang for the CSR caused.
